I took the day off work to drive my Mom to the airport in Chicago. She’s heading to my nephew’s wedding in Boulder. We were going to drive out all together, but funds are not where they need to be to take unpaid time off work. I hope everyone has a great weekend and I am sending my blessings and safe travels to my family. I love you all!

Don’t you love all those finds. I am definitely curious about those Tagua beads. When I have a little extra $$, I may have to get some to make something with them. They are so cool!
Tomorrow I head back to Chicago to apartment hunt with my son, Adam, and his roommate, Sam, and his Mom. Dorm life is loud and a little crazy and these two wanted a home, someplace they could go and rest away from the crazy schedule of school. We’ve been searching for places on Craig’s list and I was a little worried about trying to contact folks and setting up times. Traffic is always crazy and I really don’t know my way around that well. Tonight when Adam and I did a search, we found a great service to use, apartmentpeople.com! This service is free and not only do they set up properties for you to see in your price range and parameters, but they drive you to each showing too! Gosh, doesn’t get easier than that!! Wish us luck, we need to come having found something and get it leased!
