My daughter, Jess, is getting married in September. We have rented a large cottage for family to have an amazing Wedding weekend. Luckily, we have found a beautiful, charming place on Lake Michigan. In addition to the charming house, the beach atmosphere, this place has a large open field surrounded by trees which is a great place for an outdoor ceremony and tented reception. We are very excited!
This wedding has been a complete DIY! From the bridal shower to the handmade wedding invitations. Plus, so many more handmade touches throughout the weekend.
One of the things I wanted to do was purchase these handmade soaps my sister found where she lives. They are to-die-for and very luxurious! So, I will be purchasing them and placing one in each bathroom or purchasing one for each guest in a goodie bag. I haven’t decided yet. Plus, I need to decide on the fragrance… the traditional Oatmeal Milk & Honey or should I go a little more fragrant Spearment and Lavendar Shea. I have both and love them both.
But, I designed the soap wrap tonight. Jess’ wedding colors are chocolate brown, light blue and lavender. I hope you enjoy it. I think it turned out GREAT!
